Is it just me or has Vista backfired? I haven't heard a single raving review for it yet (unlike XP and Tiger etc). Something went wrong.

Not to sound like a flamer, but Vista premium works fine on the one year old Dell Heavy Ordance we have in our office. So maybe the guy got a bad disk, or maybe he was an idiot. There's really nothing wrong with Vista that I can tell and the new UI is alot prettier than XP. Stability wise it's probably just as stable as XP SP2 which is about as stable as OS X.

yeah... no lie there. not worth the price of upgrade. i got it for free tho, so it was great for free!
