Interesting Siri issue on phonetics of a name...

Greetings,
So, I am new to having an iPhone 4S. My issue regards my wife's name when trying to call/message from Siri.

Her name is Lea, pronounced as "Leah." However, Siri can never find a "Leah" when I say her name. I have entered the phonetic pronunciation of Lea's name in my contacts as "Leah" but still Siri doesn't recognize that.

Any ideas? (other than just change her first name in my contacts to "Leah")

You could try adding a nickname to your wife's contact card that is a phonetic pronunciation.

I have her nickname as Leah too. Siri thinks her name is pronounced "Lee"

Try changing the phonetic spelling to "Lee Ah". Be aware that contacts will sort by the phonetic names.
