iOS Interface builder does not launch on clicking the '.xib' file.

hi ,
I am a new mac user and wants to learn application development , installed Mac 10.6 , Xcode 3.2.6 , sdk 4.3. Started a new project under view based , but the .xib file does not launch the interface builder on double clicking ....kindly suggest

I can't say I ever experience that problem but I'd restart the computer and if that doesn't work you may need to reinstall xcode.

It may take longer to load depending on your computer.

Does the file open if you double-click it in the Finder?

Are there any funny characters like space or accented characters in the full path to your xib file?
