I have just started to use Apple's Interface Builder software. I know it's a few years old but I found it easy to use as I have never written an app before. I have made a cocoa application and have saved it. all normal. but when i go to save it, it just saves it like when I open it again, it is the same old screen where I built it. Is it possible to save it as a PROPER APPLICATION?

To have a proper application you need to have some code to run it, and compile it into an executable, its all straight forward if you are using xcode. If you have just been making it with IB then you likely havent compiled it properly. I'm still learning myself so I may be misunderstanding you though.
