So I very much dislike Apple mixing all of my apps into the Apple+ app, I usually really have to dig far to see the actual apple + programming.

They really should make some way to either completely disable the part of the app that "leaches" off all the other TV apps or create a standalone Apple TV + app.

I don’t think the idea is bad but the implementation is.
They should have the channel option as soon as you open it so you don’t have to scroll.
yes it would still be one more click than a standalone app but if the TV app was good it would be a decent trade off.

I agree with this. I’d probably make Channels a tab. If there we’re other companies making their own new content available through Channels too* then it would be the perfect form for TV streaming to take, rather than many separate apps.

*currently it looks like it’s all random selections from back catalogues

Completely agree with this, compared to the likes of Netflix and even Amazon Prime Video, Apple has some catching up to do, not only that, but if you have rotation lock on, you have to turn it off to get full screen on the iPhone.

Absolutely agree.

When I open it I just want to see the Apple content.

I appreciate what they are trying to do but wish they’d make it either optional or on a separate tab.
