whats your experience with using Internal blu ray drives on a Mac Pro? do they just work? or is there some that don't work at all?

i'm looking at buying an older SATA II blu ray drive -
Samsung SH-B123L

i know apple do not support blu ray, i already own a blu ray playing license on a Mac App, and intend to use it for ripping mostly anyway.

I think you will be fine with any SATA drive as long as the front tray panel can be removed. I personally use a USB2 BD-RW with mine.

I went with an LG Internal Blu-Ray Combo Drive 12x SATA BD-CD-DVD Burner (UH12NS30)... no issues here.
