I have two internal volumes (Programs and Data) and an external volume (Backup) (connected via firewire). Today I added another external drive (Data Ext) to the firewire chain.
I noticed an issue and rebooted. Now, all my personal settings are MIA. Programs still is fine. The volume Data is there, but there is another unknown volume--> Data 1.
If I go to Disk Utility it shows the Data volume having a mount point of Data 1.
(/volumes/Data 1). This is causing all sorts of havoc.
Can I just Go - Go to Folder and choose /volumes, select the Data 1 and send it to the trash and reboot?
