I have a uMBP 13" and I installed SMC fan control and its telling me im running at 136 Fahrenheit. Is this average?

Perfectly normal, with or without SMCFanControl.

Under heavy usage, I see about 183F, after fans stabilize at around 3300RPM (the max I've ever seen them is around 4300RPM). This is the CPU A Temp Diode, on an Early 2009 17" UB MBP. (The load test was using Handbrake). I do not use SMCFanControl.

These guys get hot. I see 180F during a session of Flash. Remember, for Apple, thinness and quietness are more important than heat reduction.
