It seems unnecessary to me, but there actually is one, on November 19.

Women’s day seems unnecessary to me. All of this everyone gets a special day divides us further.

Thank you for making my point. It’s clear you don’t want real equality.

Nicely taken reply which has more than a bit of truth in it.

I don't see how highlighting the achievements of women divides anyone. We remain a male dominated society and a little organized effort to promote women is beneficial to everyone.

When IWD is no longer necessary, we will have real equality. Until then, every day remains men's day no matter how you spin it.

Considering the ******** they have to endure to get theirs, I'd hope for never.

What ****? Especially in 2018 in America. This isn’t North Korea or China.

Let’s talk about real equality in family court and in divorce. You want job equality, let’s fight to bridge the gender gap in construction.

Been there, done that. Trust me. There's equality in family court and divorce. (Wanna hear about the party I threw when I was able to stop paying child support to a man who earned 8 times what I'll ever make?) The gender gap in construction? You want women to grow bigger muscles or what?
