After I updated all my macs with Leopard I can no longer type the name of a site in a web browser. True for Safari and Firefox.

If I type macrumors in the address bar, I get (error file not found). Under this I see yahoo sponsored results.

Now, I have to type macrumors.com. This happens on all web sites.

I know .com is only 4 more characters to type, but I got in a bad habit of omitting it.

Any help?
