Internet ads...

Anyone else noticed how obnoxious internet ads have gotten over the past year or so ?

From You Tube to my local news stations everyone is running these, and some are really bad.

For example, I was just on the PC world website, and every new page I visited had an ad come up that took over my browser.

Some of the forums I visit have pop-up ads, ads which run in the background, and ads which hi-jack the entire page for a count of seven whereby I have to click to get back to the original site.
Triumph cars - my other hobby - is a real nightmare as Triumph is also a brand of female underwear, and getting redirected to a site of half-naked ladies can take some explaining...
It's really messing up my attempts to buy presents this year.
