Hello, this is my first time posting on a forum such as this but my problem has worsened to the stage where this is necessary.

I am using a Macbook, running on Mac OS X version 10.6.8. My internet provider is a BT home hub, the connection between it and my laptop is wireless. My issue is that my internet connection will, at random intervals, drop out and cease working for anywhere between 10 seconds and 10 minutes. However, when I click on the airport logo in the top right of my screen, it shows that I am connected to my home hub and that the connection is full strength. When I go into my network settings, it tells me that I have a perfect connection to the airport and nothing seems to be wrong.

Other devices in my house such as my iPod touch and Xbox 360 are still able to connect to the internet and use it without any problems while my laptop is unable to.

I've tried resetting the router countless times, this proves to be a short-term fix with the problem returning within hours.

Any help on the issue would be greatly appreciated. Also, apologies if I've posted in the wrong forum or if what I've said doesn't make a lot of sense, not so great with much technical stuff :)
