Hello all,

I know this question is border-line retarded, and I understand that the MacBook Pro comes with a built in wire-less internet card... but, I was wondering if I could just simply plug in my cable modem directly into the computer, as opposed to running out and buying a wireless transmitter?

I will be ordering my MacBook Pro on Thursday (when I get paid), and I am hugely into music... my reason for going to Mac is simply that all the software is taylored for the machine.

I can't wait...

by the way, I was told by a sales person that the 7200rpm hard-drive is delayed by about 5-7 weeks on the orders... can I have reconfirmation on this?

Yes, and its quite likely that you will get better performance this way.
