Internet Connections Issues

my wife was working for home this morning and was having no issues with connecting to wifi until I went on my iMac and she was reseting the internet until she told me to turn off my computer. She was find with mine off until I turned it back on 3 hours later without telling her and she knew right away I was back on.

Any idea what the issue could be?

Mac sure both Macs are set to "Using DHCP" in System Preferences > Network > Advanced > TCP/IP.

I have a mac and PC

I checked the iMac and it is set to DHCP

How about the PC? Is it set to DHCP?
