Internet Connectivity plus External monitors

Hi all,
Bought a 2012 cMPR. Put in two ssd's in RAID 0 and bought an external 27 inch IPS Crossover screen. Everything has been working perfectly for the last two months.

Ever since the latest software & Firmware update I am having internet connectivity problems.
I have just noticed there this evening that when I plug out my Mini Dv cable(Apple branded) that the internet connection returns. Once I plug in my external it goes.
Anyone have any suggestions for a fix or experiencing anything similar?

Are you using ethernet or wifi for your internet. If you are using a ethernet line, then it might some faulty connection that is the problem as the thunderbolt/ethernet port is so close.

If you are connected via wifi, it's most likely a software issue and I would do a clean install.
