I never said they weren't. All I was saying is that how much does HTML5 support truely mean? The top 10 websites that use HTML5 (google, yahoo!, etc) support browsers that don't support HTML5, so while it may make for a more pleasing browser experience, it's hardly a necessity.
Much like a 7 hour battery life and retina screen are hardly necessary if you're surfing on your couch. Do you need it, or is it just nice to have?
