Internet faster on iphone then mac?

What Mac do you have? What version of OS x are you running? How are you connecting, wirelessly or wired?

i have macbook pro mid 2010 i7 running ML and i have brighthouse crappy internet with an airport extreme

nvm i was running speed test with 4g still on my iphone so i was picking that up and not the internet. its slow on both.

Are you connected via wireless N?Hold down the 'option' key while clicking on the Airport symbol in the menu bar. This will show what the connection speed you connecting with.

Plus do a Reset on NVRAM and see if it connects any faster.
