I just recently got a Netgear wifi router for my dorm room, and I'm having an issue with the internet. I got the router set up alright, but I thought it was strange that the internet wouldn't load, when AIM connects without a hitch and WarCraft 3 connects flawlessly to Battle.net.

So, then I tried switching my browser from Safari to Firefox, and voíla! Problem solved. The only issue I have is that I like using Safari a lot more than Firefox. Is there something that Safari does that doesn't agree with my new network setup?

Firefox uses its own internet settings. Try creating a fresh location in the Network System Preferences to clear out any strange proxy files you may have had left over from being connected to other networks. :)
