Hey Everybody,

I'm having some trouble with my internet. My iBook can find the wireless network, and Firefox works, but all other programs cannot connect to the web. I downloaded 10.4.10 using firefox and installed it manually, but it didn't help. Any suggestions?

Is this on a home network? Do you need any specific proxy settings? Do you already have any customised proxy settings installed form using a commercial wireless network? If so, create a new Location in the Network pane of System Preferences and reconfigure your network. It should then leave you with the default set of proxies. :)
