Is this possible?

I've got a Macbook connected to Uni network through Ethernet, can I use my Macbook's Airport shiznit so I can use that connection on my iPod Touch?

It seems improbable, but I want it damnit!

Yes, sharing - internet sharing.

This is the kind of thing UNI network managers do not appreciate however.

What they don't know can't hurt them.. 😛

Obviously I won't be doing it so as to not annoy them. Out of interest though, how would I if I wanted to? 🙄

Go to System Preferences, then go to sharing folder. There, click the Internet tab and in the box where it says share connection from:, put built in ethernet, where it says share connection with:, put airport, then click the big start button. There is even a way to set a WEP password so no one else can get on your macbook (I think it is in the Airport options button on the bottom left.

This is how it should look (the internet sharing window):
