I remember that when I was at school I used to connect to internet on my MBP with the PC. The PC as usual, was connected via ethernet, but I wasn't allowed to remove it to connect the cable on my MBP. There was no WiFi

What I did is somehow share the internet from the PC like if it was a hotspot, and I just connect and surf.

I don't remeber how I used to do it, but it was very useful. Now that I am at the office, I am in the same scenario (PC via ethernet, no WiFi) but I have no clue how I used to do it.

Could someone please help me? I would be very greatful!

    Have a great day

First off, make sure your IT department is OK with you using your work computer to generate a WiFi connection for your Mac. There's probably a good reason they don't have WiFi set up.

Once you have it cleared with them, research the concept of bridging connections.
