Internet out at home for three days.

Is it possible to call Verizon and add tethering for one month only? Would it affect my unlimited data. Or should I consider jail breaking? I have a iPhone 4s with 5.01 and a iPhone 4 with 4.2.10. I work from my home and I Internet is killing me.

You can always get a one month mobile dongle. Try Verizon though, I have no idea what they'll do.

Where do you get a one month dongle? Is that possible? I just don't want to lose unlimited data.

I'm not sure in the US but I'm sure they exist because the networks here offer 30 days or even pay as you go data. For example Vodafone's offerings.

I believe that once you give up your unlimited, you can't get it back. Just give them a call to verify.

Call Verizon they should be able to help you. Maybe find a better Internet provider. Those are the options.
