Internet Problem - iMac 27" Core i7 2.93ghz (2010)

I'm currently on Virgin Media broadband in the UK, but recently my internet can't load youtube videos, even at 240p or not at all. If it does load a YouTube video it stops after 30secs-1minute and doesn't buffer anymore.

I've tried using Chrome, Mozilla, Safari and also Rockmelt with refreshing cache and resetting all settings.
I'm currently on 10.6.6, i use the html5 youtube and also have the latest flash player installed.

My broadband is -
Download Speed: 18576 kbps (2322 KB/sec )
Upload Speed: 1356 kbps (169.5 KB/sec )

first thought would be a check/reset of your router/cable modem or both.

Both have been reset, i'm using ethernet aswell. The virgin media technician said everything is running perfectly hence the speeds.
