Hey, I am having a dificult problem with my internet right now. Every time that I try to load a web page, Safari (and every other browser that I have on my comp) puts http://1.1.1.1 in front of the page that I want to load. for example:

    i want to load http://espn.go.com
    I hit enter
and the browser tries to load this:

    http://1.1.1.1http://espn.go.com

every browser that I have tried does this, anyone have any idea how to fix this? ( i am currently using my friends computer to post this)

Did you accidentally turn on proxy service? Go check sys prefs -> networking -> your adapter -> TCP/IP.

edit: well i went through all the setting found at system prefs, network, airport, and nothing that i changed seemed to help...
