This sorta is minor compensation for the iPods lack of FM Tuner. I checked it out yesterday, and its actually pretty cool. XFM FTW.

Awesome!

What a great concept. I look forward to seeing what other features will come with these sites!

I like flytunes better because there is allot more stations to listen to plus I can have a favorite stations list and I am taken to it at login. I don't like the choices on music radio. Hopefully they add more soon. I have it as a webclip till then.

Can the Sirius/XM stream be accessed on the iPhone/Touch via WiFi? I access my satellite internet radio from my home computer now. Would be nice to take it with me around the home or office. If not, is this a possibility soon?

Soon ;)

It is being worked on by NiceMac (http://nicemac.com) and GeeksToolbox (http://www.geekstoolbox.com) as part of the StreamSmart project. It will allow Sirius, XM, and any other internet radio sources the users collect and put in a public list, or collect privately.

If it was possible to listen to BBC, and therefore Test Match Special, I would leave my desk right now and buy an iPhone.

actually, bbc streaming on the touch is already possible guys:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/podcasts/directory/

That's only of stuff that's already podcasted however, not of things that are available streamed on the listen again site or live.

The BBC have said there are new formats coming at the end of April for the radio player. We will just have to hope the people repeatedly stealing content from the TV iPlayer haven't ruined that for everyone.

BBC and many many other streams...

ooTunes will let you listen to a few of live BBC streams on your iphone (just not the ones in Real Audio). It also streams pandora, last.fm, and pretty much any radio stream you can listen to in iTunes. There's an online demo, and to buy it's $20.
