internet really slow (uk virgin) mbp retina 2013

    ive noticed my macbook is really slow when broswing web pages
    there are two channels i have the 5g and 2g services i sometimes have to alternate bewtween both to get connection

    i also have cyberghost app on my macbook installed and when i enable that, i do notice the internet works immediately (when of course the app works) so im not sure what the issue could be?

    ive reset router
    disconnected/deleted wifi and reconnected

    but overwhelmingly its the same slow staggered internet connection
    ive changed my dns servers to google, but im not sure even that is making a difference

    is there anything else i can try?

    Might want to try the OS X built-in wifi scanning tools, to see what interference you might be experiencing, and if you should possibly change the channel on the router.

    You will want to do the "Scan" option.
