Hello everybody !

My brother give me his MacBook Pro of mid 2012 with 500GB of memory.
I decided to restaure the computer. I erased the HDD and I decided to install Mac OSX Mountain lion.
I used my Ethernet cable for download the version but the download never ends.
The downloading bar is full but download time increases each time he reached the 5 minutes remaining...

It's the second time I restart the download but he never finish...

Anyone have an idea to fix my problem ? I can't reinstall OSX via an USB because I doesn't have an other Mac for configuring the USB.

Sorry in advance for my bad English, I'm French.
Thank your in advance :)

theres's no photo! but, i just did an internet restore for my brother, 2011 macbook pro. if it doesn't finish, try shutting off the mac, then turn it back on. see if the OS is now on your mac...it could be that the progress bar is 'stuck. happened to me, but the OS was there (10.7.5 lol)...and from there, i was able to install 10.11 from the app store...

I turn off and back the Mac, but unfortunately there is a folder with a "?" on the white screen...

Maybe it's my internet who's so slow...
I'm going to restart the download and If the problems' still there, I will go in Paris Apple Store. The wifi is better than my Ethernet connection there.

Internet recovery is 100% dependent on your internet connection's speed.

Yeah, I think it's my internet connection who's too slow...

Going to see if that work in my friend house tomorrow !

I bought a bootable USB key in EBay with OSX El Capitan installation.

When I will receive it, I just have to hold ALT and turn on my Mac to install it

Hope this will fix my problem !
