Hope this is the correct forum for this question, if not let me know

I frequent a forum and a guy was trolling me. He then indicated in a post that I frequent a certain game site and he noted my password to that site. I have never discussed either on this forum.

Does he have access to my computer and how is he doing this?

He probably got into your e-mail thanks to a weak password and/or security questions and made a password reset request.

No, he doesn't have access to your computer, unless you allowed it. As miles01110 said, it's far more likely your email account was hacked. Change your passwords to something complex, including upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters.

I am a big fan of 1Password. All of my passwords are unique... something that I never keep track of as a mortal. This means that if any password is ever compromised (except my 1 Password... which is the only one I know)... then the breach is limited to that one site. The passwords are all auto generated and typically look something like this:

rMTYjW8]JueVRTUHd7gF@W%z

Since I never have to type them... the complexity adds no inconvenience.
