Just got my iBook home, turned on, set up.. and I'm having major problems connecting to my broadband..

Plugged my ethernet into the side but i can't get on the net.. I'm not normally this stoopid, so any help would be appreciated..

I had problems aswell

Try unplugging your Modem, then plug it back in after about 10 seconds

Try the network connection assistant (applications> utilities (i think)), you should have a green light next to "network" & "isp"

That worked for me

I'm using NTL broadband, but I have no idea how to set it up on my iBook.. the guide isn't much use to me either..

😕

Nevermind!

Woooooo!

I still can't figure out how to connect directly via my ethernet wire, BUT I just set my PC up with a router and connected my iBook EEEEASILY to that..

Problem solved!
