I am interested in sharing my Mac's cable connection with my PC laptop, i attempted to go under "Sharing" system preference, to the "Internet" tab, then I selected "Built-in Ethernet" for what I want to share, and to the computer using "Airport"...

I see the network on the PC but when I try to log in, it just stalls.

When I attempted to add a password it stalls the same... ideas?

How could you share internet through ethernet to a computer using AirPort?
Wireless too wireless. wired too wired.

I probable I read you post wrong....

Why don't you just connect your PC to the internet through the same method as your Mac. Screw internet sharing! :p

update, i got it all working now... HOWEVER, i want to set a password on the mac side and log in on the PC side... as soon as I add a password it no longer wants to connect on the PC side :/ ideas? I really want to have a secure wireless network...unless other people have ideas on what i can do? thanks!
