Hi, I've been trying to use my macbook as a wireless receiver for my desktop.
I've gone into sharing and activated internet sharing from wi-fi to ethernet, but when i plug the cable into my PC i'm unable to connect to the internet. My mac works perfectly but my PC won't connect-
Is there something i'm missing or is it a PC issue?

I'm trying the same without success.

My MacBook Pro has Maverick, my MacPro Mountain Lion. I'm using USBtoEthernet connector and a non-crossed Ethernet cable. All Firewalls are switched off. Ethernet data sharing works.

Can't find the problem. Any ideas?
