How did you test that speed? Via www.speedtest.net?
If it is in Mb/s, then it is an okay speed, though 70 USD is a bit much. I could get 12 Mb/s download speed and 1 Mb/s upload speed for 30 €, but that is Europe.

If it is in MB/s, then that is one cheap internet.

I'm also a Comcast customer, and for our $44.95/mo "Xfinity Internet" I just got this during mid-afternoon from the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.

I say $45/mo, but that combined with the basic digital HD tv package. Not sure what the monthly outlay would be if I were an internet only customer.

I'd say you're being ripped off if that 19.8MB/s is your sustained average speed, or worse yet the peak speed to expect. Could it be that you tested your speed at a busy time of day? Try it again early in the morning or the late night.

I pay Charter $70 for 25MB/s down and 3MB/s up. This test actually bursted over 25MBps, which made me happy.
