You're going to get exactly the same speed. Getting a faster switch won't do anything to change your internet speed. What it WILL do is give you faster internal network speeds.

Thanks! I just didn't want the switch bogging my network down. And based on what you're saying the switch will not slow anything down, at least not noticeably.

That's right. Your download/upload speeds out to your WAN modem won't be affected. You will have the capability to transfer files on the LAN side at "gigabit" speeds. Practically speaking, this is limited by wiring, end points, and so on. But in the range of low 100s of Mb/sec could be expected, with both end points having gigabit capabilities.
