I unjailbreaked my iPhone 3G, restoring as a new phone, then syncing all my contacts and things from MobileMe as usual. Is Internet Tethering supposed to be showing up under Settings/General/Network? I never paid attention to whether it was there prior to jail breaking, but it is there now. Does that mean I didn't restore correctly?

I've turned it on, but it doesn't work with the iPad. Haven't tried it with the Macbook Pro. It also doesn't go away after I try it.

OK! Got it, now. After trying to connect the iPhone and Macbook Pro for tethering, the option did indeed fail, then disappear. No longer showing up.
