Anyone ever wondered if/when Apple will drop the 'i' in iMac? Originally the 'i' stood for internet- I feel that that time has long since passed.

Perhaps the next revision of the iMac will simply be the Mac. It sure makes sense to me. Thoughts?

    It does make some sense...

    Mac
    Mac mini
    Mac Pro
    MacBook Pro
    MacBook Air

Would all start by the same name...

"Apple declared the 'i' in iMac to stand for "Internet"; it also represented the product's focus as a personal device ('i' for "individual")"
