Interval running

    On the AW2 does it have a interval running setting or do I have to buy a app for that

    The :apple:Watch Workout app doesn't have interval running.

    I use irunsmooth for intervals however the watch app is merely a display for their iPhone app (they haven't released a standalone watch app yet) so with it you still need to have your phone with you. If you always carry your phone with you it's worth a look.

    There is an interval function on the workout app. It's a but tricky to get it activated. I'll try and figure it out again. I think it's just a tap on the main screen while in a workout to step up to the next interval.

    That's not what's usually meant by an interval function. Interval apps tell you when to stop doing one set of exercises and move on to something else. For running, it's usually switching between fast and slow pace.

    Sorry thought you meant intervals like splits. Belay my last it's there but not what you are really looking for I guess
