When I put iPhone my serial number into apple at

I get a message saying:

“We’re sorry, but this serial number isn’t valid. Please check your information and try again.”

if I log into my account through

go to my devices, it shows my iPhone and my serial number but when I press into it it says:

“We’re sorry, but we’re unable to find your coverage information at this time. Please try again later.

also, when I download the support app it says:

“Currently available to show coverage. Please try again later.”

I am copying + pasting my serial number straight from Settings > General > About. So I’m not mixing up letters + numbers.

I bought AppleCare+ for my iPhone and in Settings > General > About it says my coverage expires November 2022.

I got my iPhone 12 Pro Max the day it came out and queued at my local Apple store. Still have my receipt/invoice and the card I used to pay for it. So it’s not like it’s stolen or second hand. I’ve checked my serial number on third party sites and there is no problem looking it up.

maybe this is just a problem with Apple Servers?! I paid £200 for this coverage so I hope I haven’t wasted my money and the coverage comes back. Any help is appreciated! :) thanks!

I'm meant to have APPLECARE+ coverage until November 2022. that's what i paid £200 for. however, in my phone it still shows i have AppleCare+. should i be fine as long as my phone is saying i have AppleCare+ or should it be on the website too? should i call Apple again?

i bought AppleCare+ on my old Apple ID (don't have access to it anymore) so can't get into my email to get my receipt or ask Apple to transfer it. When i created my new Apple ID the website was showing the correct expiration date but not sure why it's not anymore.

I am currently facing the same issue with my MAC BOOK PRO, I checked checkcoverage.apple.com and I am finding it difficult to update my warranty. How can rectify this issue?

That's strange. I gave a 6 month old phone to a friend. Never transferred AppleCare+ but the device still displayed the proper expiration date even though the phone now had his AppleId.

Call Apple.
