I took it to the Apple store yesterday and the manager gave me apple care for free on my new MacBook Pro. Thats why I luv me some :apple:

Is there a way for me to sync my old macbook to my new one to transfer a lot of files?

I had a 20" iMac that fell 30" from the top of a table to a hardwood floor and landed face down.

I just knew the LCD was cracked/broken.

The case separated.

I picked it up, had to take it apart and put it back together to get the case halves to fit right.

Powered it up and it WORKED!!!!

Used that for two more years before passing it on to someone else.

I won't say they are invincible, but damn they are TOUGH!

make sure when you backup use time capsule not with don't back up with car.. :D

but damn!!! my heart skip when I saw how warped that thing...

it looks like the same faces as those from the movie the ring when that btich came out of the TV..lol!

Wow, do the keys on the right side still work? :p

Good thing you got out of there safely, OP.

Damn, at least it turn on. You can always work on the left hand side ;) Do the audio ports still work?

Im still waiting to get word from Progressive if its covered.

Why wouldn't it be? Should be covered by the other driver's property damage liability insurance. I assume that the police report indicates that the other driver was at fault and should have received a moving violation for running the light. If Progressive tries to stiff you for it don't take it laying down.

Glad you're ok.

LOL!!!
FYI my insurance did cover it. Progressive made me take it to one of their insurance investigators to inspect it. As soon as I pulled it out my bag and put it on his desk he said "we will cover that".

All the keys and ports still work. The optical drive does not.

Glad everyone was okay!

That is quite amazing though that your Mac survived that! Sure it's a tad injured.... but that's pretty cool nonetheless. Thanks for sharing.
