iPhone 17 Pro Max Inventory Shortage?

I've been trying to buy an iPhone Pro Max 256gb or 512gb Cosmic Orange in Florida, since Friday of last week and I don't see any stock at all as far as South Florida. Anyone else experiencing this?

Doesn't look like any shortage.

Orange 256GB is available in half the stores in town by me and all Apple Stores 170-220mi away. 512GB is available at all stores in the list.

Other neighboring states are showing inventory as well.

So, looks like a FL thing/issue.

Nope. Same thing is happening here in Wisconsin as well but then Illinois is fine.

Bought a 17PM today and the orange color was out of stock at my local T-Mobile store. Ended up getting mine in dark blue.

Here in South Africa some networks are out of stock when it comes to the 256GB 17 Pro Max across all colours, and then 512GB 17 Pro Max the Silver has a shortage.
Demand still seems to outstrip supply when it comes to some variants, Silver and Orange are both quite popular.

NYC/NJ is out of just about every Pro Max for a week now. Outside of launch they’ve been easy to get so not sure what’s going on.
