Invisibility in iChat?

I was wondering if it was possible for me to go invisible in iChat, while signed in to my google account.

If not, are there any addons that would let me do this?

and if not that, are there any alternatives to ichat that would let me be invisible?

is the option available on your buddy list below your name when you're signed in? I use my old aol sn with ichat and go invisible all the time.
