Like after previous iOS updates I found my apps out of their folders and scattered all over my iPhone's desktop. That in it self may not be a big problem, other than reorganization can be very time consuming, but this time after upgrading to iOS5 I found that few apps are just not there. After a little probing I found that iTunes "sees" them as installed, "Purchased" doesn't see them, iPhones own Find can find them and run them, and yet I can't see their icons on the phone at all.
Any ideas?

Invisible app fix

I had the exact same issue after recently upgrading to ios5. Found a rather simple fix, here it goes. Just open Itunes and connect Iphone then through the device sync folders de-select the "invisible" app or apps and then click apply to sync, therefore removing the app(s) temporarily from the iphone. Then re-select, by checking the box next to the desired missing app(s) and again click apply and the next sync will re-add the missing or invisible apps. Hope this helps! :D
