invited ical events not syncing with mobile me

Events I add directly in iCal on OS 10.6.7 sync fine with mobileme and my iphone and ipad. Events that I've been invited to and appear on iCal Desktop, do not sync or appear on .me calendar, or my iphone and ipad.

I've replaced .me calendar data with ical data a couple of times... no luck

Any ideas?
