When I download a beta jailbreak can I easily update to a newer version of the jailbreak? If so how?

With these semi untethered apps since you have to re jailbreak after rebooting the phone after the app expired after 7 days you just re jailbreak but with the newer app version.

No, that is not correct, you do not update the jailbreak in Cydia. It is, however, not difficult, to update to a newer version of Yalu102.

    1. reboot into non-jailbreak state.
    2. Press and hold the face of the "glorious leader" (the Yalu jailbreak app), press the X.
    3. go to on you Mac/pc, download the newest version.
    4. run it through Cydia Impactor, the same was you did before with your phone plugged into computer.
    5. Go to Settings and trust the new profile, as you did before.
    6. Press the face of the "glorious leader" (the Yalu jailbreak app), and press GO
