Correct. 500 cycles is 80%, so that means 1.3 cycles a day? (rough estimate)

When was the last time you did a full cycle charge? (Drain until dead then back up to 100% without unplugging) Sounds like your battery needs calibration, which this process will accomplish.

Which sound do you have set for message notifications?

Is that "500 cycles is 80%" a common reference point, personal experience, iOS only or macOS too? Curious.

    Bell.
It appeared as if multiple closely spaced alerts were getting generated within less than one second or so.

iPhones are rated for 80% health after 500 cycles. iPads are rated for 80% after 1000 cycles and i'm pretty sure all Macs after 2011 are rates for 80% after 1000 cycles.

    Here is Apple's link.

I also am not able to report to apple as it happened only once so no sysdiagnose logs collected.

Oh wow. I've been to that site many times in the past, though not for some time, and never saw that info. Very nice. Thanks much! Curious as my late 2011 MBPro is at 790 cycles and 85.7% Looks like I'm right on track.

My 2012 MBA is at 1,121 cycles and 82.3% health. It drops below 80% here and there but always seems to live another day!

(sorry for going off topic, will leave it at that!)

I would say that 95% of my charging routine is a full cycle. I use it till its shutting itself off and then I charge it to 100%. Maybe thats the reason?

You should never let the battery die if you don't have to. That hurts your health. I never ever let my phone drop below 10% and I have never once had battery health problems. I've maintained an iPhone with 100% health for over 400 cycles before it finally started to drop.

    Okay

I thought this was the healthiest way for my battery.

Nope. Letting it die, extreme heat and extreme cold are the worst things.

I apologize, I should have stated to drain until 1% (not dead), then back to 100% for just calibration. Not something to do every time. Maybe once a month. Also, @Natya Sadella, try not to use your phone heavily while it's charging.

Thanks for all the tips :)

But now its a little bit too late haha. But the new oled iphone is on its way for september so its not tooo bad. And if the new iphone really has its touch id sensor on the back (I would never buy that), I will buy a new battery from apple for my 6s and keeping it another year. But then without letting it die so often.

I have. It may be a Yahoo thing, I read on some other forums that ppl are having yahoo issues on android also. I tried going back to the yahoo mail app for iOS, and it won't work when I try that either. I can sign in fine on the web page. Just not the Yahoo app, or th iOS app.

Can anyone confirm the 0 byte safari data on iOS 10.3/10.3.1 is fixed on iOS 10.3.2 beta 3?

Just realised that unlocking my 6s+ no longer unlocks my Apple Watch. So I tried turning the slider off and then back on again. This involves re-entering the Watch unlock code but the process never completes and the slider goes back to off.

Had a major problem on his beta last night. Curious if anyone else has experienced this.

Pressed my home button to wake my iPhone 7 and while the Taptic feedback did initiate, the screen would not wake. I kept pressing the home button around 15 times over 30-40 seconds and still the screen wouldn't wake. Only pressing the power button would get the screen to wake. Touch ID was working once I got the screen to wake.

Then about 10 seconds later my touchscreen became completely unresponsive for around 30-40 seconds. Locking-unlocking the phone during that time had no effect on making it work again, it just randomly started working again. Some kinda major hang I guess on the system but this was the worst I've ever had of something like this. Reported to Apple immediately.

My phone has been stuck on "Update Requested" since yesterday. I have reset it and re-applied the beta profile (and rebooted again). Is there a trick to force the update?

It cannot be yahoo thing because it is signing alright on the iOS 10.3.1, but not on iOS 10.3.2 Beta 3.

It seems you can answer with third part keyboards from the lock screen now. When was that added?

So, on a whim, I installed iTunes and plugged my phone into my PC to try and update it that way. As soon as I connected the cable it started to download on the phone.... Weird.

Most likely one of the 10.3.2 betas or 10.3.1, because I've never managed to get any third party keyboards working on the lockscreen.

I could not collect the sysdiagnose logs regarding the issue of repeating notification sound for submitting to Apple.
    Could you do that?
