On my iphone 5c it installs fine. I do notice that the phone is pretty warm though. Hopefully it will settle down after it indexes. I never noticed my phone being warm on any of the ios 10 betas in the last year. But I usually install them, put it in my pocket and leave for work to be there at 2:00pm edt. However, I am off today.

I think that you should run these tests at least 3-5 times to verify if there is a improvement or decrease. The difference is very small and that kind of difference happens on the same system with different runs of test.
