iOS 10 crashes Messages

I can't open the Messages app on my 6S since I upgraded to iOS 10. It just freezes and kicks me back to the home screen. I tried a hard reset and that didn't help either. The phone is all-around sluggish but everything else seems to work. Anyone else experiencing this?

Mine finally started working but it's slow and inconsistent - sometimes my texts go out as SMS and sometimes they go out as iMessage messages but it's mostly green right now (SMS).

I have a problem related to new messages app. How can I send MMS if I can't even open any of 3 shortcuts in left from typing field ? No way to open / add camera or photos from messages up.

Edit: fixed after 2 restarts and manually typing my MMS settings which was gone after update - yes, update wiped carrier settings of Plus GSM (Poland)

Have you tried disabling and re-enabling/re-activating iMessage perhaps?

Is everyone not bricked sending stickers to everyone else and crashing the servers maybe?

I updated to iOS 10 and have no problem. But I have an iPhone 5s though.

My imessage isn't working at all now in regards to sending messages - I can only send SMS (green). I tried rebooting and also toggling imessage on/off but no effect

Any luck with a fix? Basically makes the Message app useless for me, very frustrating
