Nice wiki topic! Maybe it's nice to also put a link on the wiki post to the iOS8/9 widgets (of which some have been updated to iOS10 too).

A few ones that come to mind which weren't mentioned yet are:
* Magic Launcher
* Forecast Bar
* Widget: Agenda+

I just added these.

I've updated and added one more widgets.
Please see the details and screenshots below.

- Weather Live by Apalon (I used the paid version) - very nice UI
* lacks rain mm in widget
* lacks percentage of rain expected for upcoming hours/days in widget

Thank you, but keep in mind that we only want to add iOS 10 optimized widgets to the list.
Weather Unterground and Widget Weather are not iOS 10 optimized widgets yet, so I have removed them.
The list should also state what features compact and expanded mode have.

I'm sorry I did saw in the App Store description of both of them that the apps were updated to iOS10 though but you could be right that the widgets weren't updated. I've seen a similar thing with Atmos weather app.

I've also added the compact and expanded mode details for the ones I added.

Weather 14 days [Link] is updated though also for the widget so i added that one.
compact: today's weather / expanded: upcoming days, min/max + rain details

ETA, Music Launcher, Google Maps, Citymapper, Runtastic, Todoist, Widget Calendar, Cheatsheets were also added. I will try to add the description later.
I also added a link to the iOS8/9 topic in the start post. I also asked a forum admin to make this topic a sticky.

Widgets can be set to automatically change to light or dark theme based on day/night, or can be set manually, along with just matching it to the theme you have set.

The widget options include Air Quality (not supported by all cities), City, Today, and Weekly. The "show more" on the Weekly widget just shows you the city name.

So here are the light/dark widgets:

And here are some of the themed ones:

I wish all developers allowed for at least light and dark widgets.

Gonna revive this thread to digress a little: on the whole, I love iOS 10 widget look and feel. However, one thing I don't like about them is the minimum height. Some widgets just don't need that minimum height. I was reminded of this after installing an older app whose widget had not been updated, and so is not constrained by that minimum. And what I saw was a wonderfully compact widget that was maybe half the vertical height of iOS 10 widgets, and it looked great. It didn't need to be any bigger. It shouldn't be any bigger.

I so agree with you there (again). It's such a strange contraint that that are asking since iOS10.
I do know that some developers don't update their widget because of this reason because they want to keep the widget as small as possible.
It's also so great that Apple brought back (since 10.2 I think) the way that it remembers if you either had your widgets view open the last time or the Notifications in the Notification Center.

I also still love and use the widget daily. This is my current list of widgets:
- Launcher (link)
- Buienalarm (non iOS10 UI, link)
- Widget Weather (link)
- BeWeather2 (link)
- Swiss snow (link)
- EventsWidget (non iOS10 UI, link)
- AlpenCams (link)
- Webcams (by Swiss Snow,link)

Unfortunately the perfect weather widget isn't still there yet for my region which is why I currently use three of them :) I also like to test them out as well see this topic.

I've also added a few iOS10 widgets to the topic start post as well just now.

My absolute favorite weather widget is still Crisp Weather (https://appsto.re/us/DdsT6.i) In a minimal widget it contains a lot of data, and is visually easy to read.
I agree with you there it's a great weather widget with unique UI features but I would like it to be a bit more flexible in the settings and some more details:

+ nice UI
+ you can change the size of the widget, timeline part of it
+ you can choose if it uses GPS or not
+ cheap
+/- has minute by minute rain bar but only for select amount of coutries (thats more a limitation of forecast.io)
- the settings for showing both upcoming hours so e.g. from now untill 0.00 today + 7 days can only be seen when tapping on the widget. I tapped both 24 + 7 days in the app setting. You can't see both of them in the widget at the same time.
- lacks mm rain
- limited amount of (widget) settings. I would like to see both upcoming hours + days without pressing the widget. I would like to see the mm and percentage chance of rain for upcoming hours + days without pressing the widget.
- switch between locations in widget like BeWeather2 can.

Another widget I've recently purchased because I liked it so much is Network Utility Pro by Fausto Ristagno
https://appsto.re/us/14C2ab.i Lots of good info in a nice compact widget. Just how I think widgets should be. Even, optionally, will show data usage.
