Much snappier. The whole OS is faster.

Especially Face ID, feels like it unlocks and gets to the home screen 20% faster for me.

Anyone with iPhone 8 or 8 plus or older devices notice any difference? I installed it on my 7 plus just because there may be under the hood security patches. No difference so far.

Anyone's AirPods have problem sustaining a connection to their iPhone X after the update? It's practically unusable for me forgetting and re-pairing the AirPods doesn't work.

Edit: looks ok now. Hope it's just a weird glitch

Glad to hear you guys are seeing very noticeable performance improvements on the X with this update. I on the other hand don't see any. If anything, I feel like it's been a bit choppy for the last couple days regardless of the update. Very strange and might all just be in my head.. Anyone else?

I have seen it choppy too. On my iPad Air 2 much more than usual. It is better now with iOS 11.1.2

I called Apple last night and they suggested I wipe my phone and do a full update through iTunes.
