Got it. 93.1 MB on my 7+ Buttery smooth and 5 day battery life! Negative lag (home button responds before I press it!) (first line is true; second line is pure you know what)
Just tested. I have 0.32ms of lag between when I press the home button and the phone actually doing anything.
Alright. I'm not sure if this has been reported or not 11.2.5 Beta 1... Open iMessage; open a chat; start to reply; get distracted back to the home screen; rotate to landscape; open iMessage from task switcher; rotate to portrait and Viola! You can no longer see your text box or the bottom of your messages... At least I can't. Bug? Can anyone see if it's still present on Beta 2?
103 MB on my X. Downloading now. I sure hope there are absolutely no bugs present or Apple will have hell to pay for releasing such an unfinished product in beta...
No home button delay, BUT: Volume buttons now have a delay (around 85ms)!!! Will update if I notice lock button delay.
It deleted all my downloaded music... Edit: Not really a huge deal, I haven’t done a clean install in a while so I did one last night
Music sounds better through the AirPods in this beta. It sounded slightly flat in the last release. Subjective, I know...
So hard to tell who's being serious vs. facetious these days... ANYWAY. My iPhone X has decided that it will work with my office WiFi today so I'm currently downloading.
Not specific to this beta but that's happened to me before on other public releases of iOS, though not often. I think two total times in nine years. All it took to fix was a simple re-sync to iTunes.
Can anyone check if this fixes the weird cracking noise when swiping up from the bottom to dismiss control center on iPhone X?
Yep, completely serious. I had iCloud music library on with a bunch of music downloaded, and it deleted the downloaded music.
Running smoothly here (on a Verizon iPhone 8 Plus) thus far.… I have yet to do my usual post-update restart (see: not hard reset) but will do so once phone has fully charged. --- Post Merged, Dec 19, 2017 --- I’m sorry, that totally blows. But it’s also all the more reason to use the superior (IMO) Spotify.
I’m perfectly fine with a beta release that strictly focuses on bug fixes and polishing. The only feature I’m really missing is iCloud Messages, and with all the crap we’ve been through with iOS 11, I’d rather Apple get this feature right and not push it out half baked.
Can someone with an X enable Reachability and then swipe down and then back up and see if the Haptic feedback is still bugged?
This is the only time it’s ever happened to me and it’s provably just a beta bug. And anyway, Spotify isn’t integrated with Siri or deep-linked spotlight search
