And I have no near WiFi connection.. going to have to wait to install

Wondering if this is to fix wifi issues with beta 4. There's been a ton of drop outs and stalls on iPad's in the developers portal.

Argh ffs. Now my attention aware feature for calls has stopped working!

Switching attention aware off, restarting and switching back on has no affect. Worked ok for me in Beta 4

This is related to ARM, not Intel. Also the flaw has already been patched on beta 3 or beta 4.

Also note that, this is not an unusual release since there were same beta pattern for iOS 10.2.1 beta releases last year. This is probably the last beta according to pattern from last year, and public release could be next Monday or on January 22.

I am expecting iOS 11.3 beta 1 on January 23. However, there is a slight chance on next week.

May want to do a little more research. Several devices use Intel modems now. ;) Also these new flaws don't only affect Intel CPU's either but pretty much all of them.

iOS devices affected from the flaw because of the ARM chip design which affects all iOS devices. It is not related to Intel modems. However, Intel CPUs are affected by the flaw which also affects Mac devices.

can we stay on topic, so whats changed fixed or new anything?

I don't expect any user-facing changes or fixes. There are probably minor under the hood fixes for APIs. I expect user-facing changes, features and fixes on iOS 11.3 betas.
